STATE LIFTS REGIONAL STAY AT HOME ORDER, COUNTY MOVES BACK TO PURPLE TIER

The State has lifted the strict regional stay-at-home orders issued in December — moving the County back into the previous tier system. San Bernardino County remains in the Purple Tier. As a result, local restaurants can open for outdoor service, personal care services (such as hair and nail salons) may reopen with modifications, retailers may allow more customers into their stores and campgrounds may resume operations, among other changes. For the County to move into the next less restrictive red level, it will be vital for testing to continue not just for protecting residents from illness but for reopening our economy and getting residents back to work. Stop the Spread. Help Our Most Vulnerable. As COVID-19 continues its spread, we all must remain vigilant. The changes we have had to make to routines and daily life are extremely hard, but we must stop the spread with all the steps we have learned over the last year – wearing a mask; distancing; washing our hands and getting tested.
